Kinh Duong Vuong bridge opens to traffic on October 11. The bridge is expected to boost connectivity in the Red River Delta.

The bridge resembles a dragon crossing the Duong River, a tributary of the Red River and connects Thuan Thanh town to Tien Du district in Bac Ninh province.
Construction work started on the bridge back in 2018. Costing VND1.927 trillion in total, the bridge has five steel arches, the highest of which rises 87 metres above the water.
The body of the bridge is built using reinforced concrete. It stretches for 1.5 km, including leading roads, and is 22.5 metres wide. The bridge has four lanes for vehicles and walking paths for pedestrians on both sides.
