Russia, Turkey sign cooperative agreements

(VOVworld) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday signed a series of cooperative agreements, including a medium-term commercial, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation program until 2020. A number of important bilateral interdepartmental and corporate documents were signed, including a cooperation MoU between the Prosecution Service of the Russian Federation and the Turkey Ministry of Justice.

Following the meeting, Turkish President Erdogan noted that the conference had important meaning in pushing the bilateral cooperation. Russian President Putin said that Russia and Turkey have returned to the path of true partnership, and multifaceted interaction, adding that Russia is interested in maintaining an intensive high-level political dialogue.
