(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh City hosted a reception for diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations and businesses to mark Vietnam’s 69^th National Day on September 2.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan said Vietnamese people treasured and acknowledged the profound support of foreign friends and progressive forces worldwide during Vietnam’s national struggle for independence, freedom, unification, and the current development.
Quan reiterated Vietnam’s foreign policy of openness while ensuring national independence, self-reliance, sovereignty and territorial integrity. Vietnam wants to be a friend with all countries for peace, stability, security, safety, and cooperation in the world.
