(VOVworld)- By April 17, the list of eligible candidates of the elections of the National Assembly deputies for the next 5-year term was approved by the 3^rd consultative meetings.

A consultative meeting in HCM city

There are 1,121 candidates nationwide in the list. At the central level, the 3^rd consultative meetings hosted by the Vietnam Fatherland Front approved the preliminary list of 197 nominees. In 63 provinces and cities all over Vietnam, 735 candidates are in the list to run for 14^th National Assembly elections and 6,462 candidates for the People’s Councils elections.

After the 3^rd consultative meetings, meetings with voters will be held for candidates to campaign for the elections as from April 27^th, the day the official list of candidates is announced.
