2 Koreas agree to form joint Olympic teams for Tokyo 2020
(VOVWORLD) - North and South Korea will form joint teams to compete in women's basketball, canoeing, and rowing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, said South Korean Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Jong Hwan on Monday.

He said the two Koreas are looking into organizing joint teams for table tennis, judo, and possibly other sports if athletes in those sports support the idea. South Korean President Moon Jae In and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un raised the idea at their summit in Pyongyang back in September.
