65 years of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties marked

(VOVworld) – A ceremony to mark the 65th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties was held in Ho Chi Minh city on Friday. Vice-chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem said that the Vietnamese government and people always want to consolidate the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China: “Ho Chi Minh city will continue to boost cooperation with Chinese localities. Based on our existing conditions, we hope cooperation between the two sides will continue to thrive.”

Chinese Consul General Chai Wenrui said deepening bilateral ties will benefit both countries and contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

Vietnam’s Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau and the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in Hong Kong held a meeting the same day to mark this occasion.
