The signing was part of a business and investment conference held in Dak Lak province’s Buon Ma Thuot city on Wednesday with more than 300 delegates attending.

The Indian delegations included representatives from the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Indian Economic Trade Organization, the Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Madan Mohan Sethi said the conference is the first of many more major collaborations to come between Indian enterprises and Vietnamese localities.

He added: "The Indian Consulate is committed to supporting each entrepreneur from both sides to explore business opportunities and partnerships. This is a historic occasion to organize a business meeting in Dak Lak province and will lead to more business meetings in other parts of Vietnam."
