(VOVworld)-The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide loans worth almost 121 million USD as part of Vietnam’s 730 million USD electricity transmission network program.  The loan agreement was signed on Friday by Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh and ADB Vice President Stephen Groff. The first loan is designed to assist the construction of almost 650km of 500kV power line and more than 100km of 220kV power line as well as transformer stations nationwide. The project is also expected to increase the National Power Transmission Corporation's management capacity.
