Regarding foreign policy, Cameron said Britain will not stand outside the combat against the self-proclaimed Islamic State in Syria. He said Britain will get what it needs in talks with the EU, and immigration reform will be at the heart of Britain’s plans for EU renegotiation. He promised to hold a referendum in 2017 on Britain's EU membership if Conservatives win next year's election.
