At a meeting with the port’s management board, Mr. Hue said the government pays special attention to the develop of Da Nang port and the expansion of Da Nang port and Lien Chieu port. According to Mr. Tran Le Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company, Da Nang port has affirmed its position as the No 1 port in the central region creating a logistics service supply chain. In the last 10 years, the port has maintained its high growth with commodity quantity increasing 12.5% annually since 2014 and container loading rising 10% to 20% per year.
