The consensus was reached at meetings last week between Vice Head of the National Assembly’s External Relations Committee Ngo Duc Manh and the President of the Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group Hocim Maaloum, and Head of the Algerian Lower House’s External Relations Committee Belmdedah Nour Eddine. The two sides agreed to increase delegation exchanges, share experience in legislation, and boost cooperation in energy, agriculture, oil and gas, tourism, and transport. They discussed issues of mutual concern and agreed on the importance of addressing disputes on the basis of international law and the UN Charter.
