Folk painting exhibition opens in Da Nang

(VOVWORLD) -An exhibition of Vietnamese folk paintings opened in Da Nang on Thursday to honor the culture of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

On display are 62 paintings chosen by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to represent traditional painting villages like Dong Ho in Bac Ninh province, Hang Trong and Kim Hoang in Hanoi, Vu Di in Vinh Phuc province, and Doc Loi in Nghe An province. 

An event, called “Folk paintings and Tet”, gives visitors a chance to explore Vietnamese folk paintings and Dong Ho prints.  The exhibition will run until February 25.
