The French Foreign Ministry confirmed that two French journalists from Radio France Internationale (RFI) were kidnapped and killed in Kidal city, northern Mali after a private interview at house of a member of the Mouvement National de Libération de L'Azawad (MNLA). Hollande expressed his anger at the action, which he called “despicable”. Kidal is the den of the MNLA, the organization that is asking to establish an independent Tuareg country in Northern Mali.
