Ha Giang tourism promoted in central region
(VOVWORLD) - Tourism attractions of the northern mountain province of Ha Giang were introduced to the central region at a seminar in Nha Trang City on Monday.

In 2018, Ha Giang welcomed more than 1 million tourists, one forth of them foreigners. Ha Giang was selected as one of Vietnam’s 24 tourist hubs and honored by several foreign travel magazines as one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.
Participants to the seminar emphasized the need of preserving and promoting the traditional culture of the ethnic minorities as a highlight of local tourism. They suggested boosting online promotion of local destinations, ethnic cuisine, and medicinal herbs.
A number of cooperative agreements were signed at the seminar between travel companies of Ha Giang and central localities.
