Hanoi hosts activities in response to Creative Design Festival 2023
(VOVWORLD) - The management board of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter on Sunday kicked off Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 activities at the Arts and Culture Center, 22 Hang Buom Street, in Hanoi.

This is the third consecutive year Hoan Kiem district has participated in the Creative Design Festival organized by the Hanoi administration to realize its commitment to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
The activities include exhibitions and art programs introducing the Vietnamese paper art of Truc Chi, lacquer art, “con giong bot” (a traditional powder figurine from northern Vietnam), fashion shows, and traditional and modern music performances.
Hoan Kiem district is closely linked to the history and cultural traditions of Thang Long-Hanoi. Its 190 relics include Bach Ma temple, one of the four temples that guarded the ancient capital; Ngoc Son Temple, a special national relic; and the Hanoi Old Quarter, a national relic site.
To mark Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, a number of cultural activities have been organized which will run through December 17.
