(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang has sent a letter to the people and soldiers nation wide on the occasion of the Vietnamese Day for Flood and Storm Prevention and Natural Calamity Mitigation. He said over the years, the global climate change and natural calamity had changed noticeably, seriously affecting people’s living conditions and the country’s development.  Sang asked Party committees and authorities at all levels, organizations, armed forces, and all people to elevate awareness and responsibility for preventing floods and storms and reducing the chances of disasters.
