Edri said on X that Israel will temporarily suspend hostilities for humanitarian purposes in western Rafah between 10AM and 2PM local time, adding that a humanitarian corridor has been established to facilitate the evacuation of civilians from Daraj-Tuffah, Jabalia, and Shujaiya in Gaza. This corridor will extend from Salah al-Din street to the southern Gaza Strip.

Egyptian media reported that 29 premature babies have been evacuated from Al-Shifa hospital, the largest medical facility in the Gaza Strip, to Egypt. Palestinian doctors previously evacuated 31 premature babies from Al-Shifa hospital, and are committed to evacuating the remaining patients and staff.

The international community and the Egyptian government are coordinating efforts to bring more aid trucks to Gaza.

On Monday, the Egyptian government continued its humanitarian aid efforts in the Gaza Strip by amassing 9,000 tons of aid in Al-Arish, which borders the Gaza Strip. This aid was donated by Egyptian NGOs, including the Red Crescent Organization, the National Alliance, and Honest Life (Hayat Karima). Arab and Muslim nations and international organizations have also provided substantial humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
