(VOVworld)- Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Sunday that Japan's government has given the Democratic People's Republic of Korea a list of 470 missing Japanese nationals thought to have been abducted by agents from the DPRK. This move follows the breakthrough deal in May regarding Japanese citizens who were abducted in the 1970's and 80's. Under the deal, Pyongyang will conduct a thorough investigation of the fate of those Japanese. In return, Japan will lift some of its travel sanctions against some individuals of the DPRK.
