(VOVworld) - Hanoi has started the construction of its largest social housing project. The 4.5 hectare complex includes 8 block of high storey buildings which can accommodate up to 1,900 households.

Speaking in the launching ceremony in Ha Dong district, Deputy Construction Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan expected the Vesta project to meet the increasing demand for houses in the capital city. House buyers are offered lower interest rate loans of 5% per year so that they could own houses at the cost from 600 million dong.
