(VOVworld) – Myanmar’s Parliamentary Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann left Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday after an official visit to Vietnam.

Earlier at a reception on Monday Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Thanh Hai expressed his wish that Mr. Mann will help to enhance friendship between the two countries, especially between Ho Chi Minh City and its Myanmar partners.  Speaker Mann said he hoped cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Myanmar will continue to prosper: “Ho Chi Minh city is striving to increase its competitiveness in the world market. We believe that Ho Chi Minh city will succeed in developing qualified human resources. We hope to learn from the city’s experiences in developing industrial parks, seaports, and airports."
