(VOVworld)- At least 20 people were killed and 270 others were injured in a gas explosion in Taiwan's southern city of Kaohsiung Thursday. The number of causalities is predicted to increase as many collapsed roads cause more accidents.  Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu said the disaster was the worst in the last decade. People in nearby areas have been evacuated. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
