In a dispatch signed on Wednesday, Mr. Chinh asked ministries, agencies, and localities to strictly implement the Government's regulations on policies to support students and schools in poor communes and villages; policies to develop preschool education; tasks and solutions in the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic-inhabited areas until 2030; and a number of other support programs.

The Ministry of Education and Training was asked to coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to direct and review the organization and implementation of meals for preschool children and boarding and semi-boarding students in ethnic-inhabited areas, and the implementation of other policies for them, and deal strictly with collectives and individuals when there are violations.

Attention must be paid to strengthening the direction, management, and inspection of policies on ethnic education and developing a safe, healthy and friendly education environment.

The Government Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs was asked to use resources effectively under the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic-inhabited areas until 2030 to ensure that all schools and classrooms in poor communes and villages are sturdily built.
