The 400 meter-bridge symbolizes the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. Once completed, it will help to boost bilateral economic and trade cooperation and reduce poverty in border areas. As part of his visit to Cambodia, Prime Minister Dung the same day laid a wreath at the Memorial Monument of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers in Phnom Penh. He met with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni before departing for Vietnam. Prime Minister Dung hoped King Sihamoni will continue to support the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
