Putin, Poroshenko hold phone conversation
(VOVworld) – The Kremlin said Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko talked by telephone about bilateral relations and the situation in southeast Ukraine.

According to the Kremlin’s report, the phone call occurred on Wednesday on Ukraine’s initiative to deal with the ongoing violence in Ukraine’s eastern region despite a September ceasefire. The Kremlin statement gave no further details of the phone conversation.
