Renowned chefs cook global food in Ho Chi Minh City festival

(VOVWORLD) - 20 Vietnamese chefs, who have won fame globally, have made hundreds of world specialties at the “Five Continents Food Festival 2017” in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 4-day event, which ended on Sunday, treated visitors to Spain’s Iberico (cured ham), Italy’s Porchetta (boneless roasted pork), Hong Kong’s dimsum (steamed buns), Vietnam’s “bún riêu” (crab noodle soup), and Thailand’s Tom Yum Goong (hot and sour soup with shrimp) among others.

Nhat Mai, who lives in District 8, is one of festival goers. She said: “I was really impressed by the chefs. I came here for 2 days and enjoyed different menu. They give me advice on each dish and serve me as if I were dining in a restaurant. This is a great experience”.
