(VOVworld) – The central province of Quang Tri yesterday hosted the inauguration of a memorial hall at Road No.9 National Cemetery, which was co-sponsored by Vietnam’s finance sector and the provincial People’s Committee.

This is the first phase a cemetery upgrade worth 40 billion VND (nearly 2 million USD), donated by over 80 thousand financial sector workers around the country. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh spoke at the event: “I urge party leaders of the finance sector to continue close cooperation with Quang Tri province to encourage organizations and individuals to contribute more to the upgrade of the Road No.9 National Cemetery. I call on branches at different levels and individuals to support people who have rendered great services to the nation.”
