(VOVworld) – The Vietnam-Slovakia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City held a meeting on Saturday to mark the 23^rd anniversary of Slovak National Day.

The Association’s President Bui Quang Hai said the Czech Republic and Slovakia helped trained tens of thousands of Vietnamese people in economics, engineering, mechanics, and light industry. Many of them have become leaders of state and government agencies.

Hai noted that Vietnamese people including those in Ho Chi Minh City will do its utmost to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two peoples and cooperation ties more effective.
