(VOVworld) - The University of Economics and Law of  the HoChiMinh National University and the International Business Knowledge Company  on Saturday held a seminar  on restructuring of  state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in HCM city with the participation of 150 representatives.

Reports at the seminar focused on the current situation and the needs to restructure SOEs; policies for implementation of SOEs restructuring; and issues that may arise upon restructuring economic groups. Participants agreed on the urgent need of improving the efficiency of production  and competitiveness.  According to experts, the best ways to restructure SOEs is to equitize them. They said what the government needs to do in the coming time is to speed up the equitization process of SOEs.
