Square, round sticky rice cakes offered to Hung Kings
(VOVWORLD) -On Wednesday, delegates and artisans held a ceremony in Phu Tho province to offer “bánh chưng” (square sticky rice cakes) and “bánh dày” (round sticky rice cakes) to the Hung Kings on the occasion of the Hung Temple Festival and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week 2024.

The offering included 18 “bánh chưng” from Cam Khe District and 18 “bánh dày” from Yen Lap District, each one weighing one kilogram.
The artisans from the two districts were the winners of a contest making traditional cakes in 2023.
The offerings expressed the current generation’s gratitude to their ancestors.
