Syria: civilians killed in Raqqa airstrike
(VOVWORLD) - At least 7 civilians were killed in an airstrike backed by the US in Raqqa, IS’s base in northern Syria, Syrian activists reported on Saturday.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 13 civilians have been killed in coalition air raids over the past 24 hours.
The US is providing battlefield support to the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) trying to capture Raqqa from the IS group. There are about 3000-4000 holy gunmen in Raqqa, where IS a leader stay to plan for international terrorism attacks.
