(VOVworld) – On Thursday Thua Thien Hue province received 500,000 USD in non-refundable aid from Handicap International to support people living with brain injuries. The 2016-2020 project involves designing training documents and providing consultation for high-quality health care services for people with brain injuries, enhancing access to these services for them, and improving the capacity of local medical and social workers. Handicap International is an international non-governmental organization with a mandate to prevent and limit the impact of disabilities, by offering assistance to people with disabilities and those at risk of disability and supporting them in their efforts towards autonomy and social integration.
