The UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in its latest report that 100 humanitarian access incidents were reported in June, the highest number recorded so far this year. The UN reports that over 80 aid workers have been killed since the outbreak of violence in December, 2013. Over 6 million South Sudanese are on the verge of starvation due to civil war and prolonged drought. This is Africa’s largest humanitarian crisis so far.
