Huang praised Vietnam's potential, great opportunities, and clear strategy, vision and approach, as well as its focus on infrastructure investment in semiconductors and AI.

Prime Minister Chinh asked Nvidia to set out a strategic vision for cooperating with Vietnam in building and implementing a national semiconductor strategy and developing a semiconductor ecosystem in all three stages of chip manufacturing – design, testing, and packaging. Mr. Chinh also asked Nvidia to cooperate in infrastructure; building training facilities, design centers and data centers; research and development; developing semiconductor chips and AI products; and conducting high performance computing and semiconductor engineer training in Vietnam.

Huang said Nvidia’s base in Vietnam will attract talent from around the world to contribute to Vietnam's semiconductor and AI ecosystem.

As of December 2023 NVIDIA has a market cap of more than 1.17 trillion USD. This makes NVIDIA the world's 6th most valuable company by market cap.
