Marie Harf, a spokesperson for the US State Department, told a press conference in Washington on Tuesday that the US delegation would arrive in Moscow to seek a long-lasting agreement on implementing the INF.
The INF was signed in 1987 between the US and the Soviet Union and officially took effect on June 1, 1988. The agreement prohibits signatories from producing or testing surface-to-air nuclear missiles whose ranges are from 500 to 5.500 kilometres.
