(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Day in Venice featuring the Vietnamese nation and people opened on Wednesday.

It attracted many local people and students of Ca’Foscari University of Venice. The highlights included conferences on economic and investment opportunities in Vietnam, the Vietnamese culture, and cultural relations between Vietnam and Italy.
Visitors also had an insight into Vietnamese cuisine and cinematography in the past decade. Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Hoang Long expressed his hope for further educational cooperation between Vietnam and Italy, especially in scientific research and student exchanges.
The event was co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy, the Ca’Foscari University of Venice and the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association.
