Vietnam, Hungary boost ties

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam hopes for stronger relations between its Party and State with Hungary’s counterparts, contributing to deeper understanding and closer ties between the two countries.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Monday with Vice President Katalin Novak of Hungary’s ruling party, Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance, National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien urged both sides to step up parliamentarian exchanges and and work to foster bilateral ties.

Vice President Novak suggested the two countries expand cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and application of science and technology in socio-economic development. She said the Hungarian Embassy in Vietnam will organize numerous activities to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
