At the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang said cuisine is a special feature of Vietnam’s culture. He said he hopes the event will help Thai friends gain an insight into Vietnam’s land and people through its cuisine.

The ceremony was attended by embassy representatives and overseas Vietnamese in Thailand, who enjoyed special dishes cooked by Chef Bui Van Dam from Ho Chi Minh City and art performances by artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
