(VOVWORLD) - The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam on Tuesday held a ceremony to launch activities celebrating the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.

Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda praised the partnership’s achievements in past years in politics, economy, culture, education, and people exchange. On the occasion, the Japanese Embassy presented an order of the Rising Sun to former Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Phu Binh.
