The French Film Festival is not only the biggest foreign film festival in Australia, but also the biggest such event outside of France. The cultural event, which will run until late April, will take place in several major cities in Australia. More than 40 films of various genres will be screened. Audiences will have a chance to enjoy traditional cuisine and drinks of francophone countries. The 2013 film festival attracted 130,000 people – 40,000 in Sydney alone.
