(VOVworld) – As part of an international trade fair, Vietnam has organized a seminar in Liege, Belgium to introduce investment opportunities and challenges in Vietnam.

Philippe Suinen, former High Commissioner of Belgium’s French-speaking Community, spoke highly of Vietnam’s investment potential and emphasized that Belgian businesses have plenty of opportunities to invest in Vietnam, especially in the fields of agricultural processing, waste treatment and environmental protection.

He said both countries should boost bilateral cooperation to create development opportunities for Vietnam and more jobs for local people.

Belgium currently has 40 investment projects worth 98 million euro in Vietnam.
