Vietnam ready to facilitate investment and long-term cooperation by Indian firms: Deputy PM

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang said Vietnam wants to enhance cooperation with India in general and Gujarat state in particular and is ready to facilitate conditions for major Indian firms to increase investment and establish long-term cooperation in the country.

Mr. Quang was speaking  at the 10th “Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit," held in the state of Gujarat, India, on Wednesday. The summit is organized biennially to connect businesses, share knowledge, and establish strategic partnerships for comprehensive growth and sustainable development.

The Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the topics discussed at this summit coincide with priority areas in Vietnam's development and international integration process, such as the green economy, circular economy, digital economy, e-commerce, and smart cities.

The same day, Mr. Quang met with the President of Mozambique and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
