Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long said the plan boosts cooperation in healthcare services and medical research. Russia has helped Vietnam conduct epidemiology studies of infectious diseases for Vietnam’s vaccination program. Russia’s support has reinforced Vietnam’s ability to fight epidemics, upgrade its laboratories to monitor infectious diseases, ensure food safety, and train health workers.
