(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Tuesday received President of Brazil’s Communist Party Renato Rabelo in Hanoi who is currently on a working visit to Vietnam. Party leader Trong praised the contributions of Brazil’s Communist Party to the leftist movement in Latin America. He also hoped that in the coming years, the Communist Party of Brazil will further contribute to the common struggle of the people of Brazil and Latin America for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress. Renato Rabelo highlighted the significance of Vietnam’s past struggle for independence and achievements in the renewal process under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He said he hoped for increased cooperation and friendship between the two people, parties and countries.
