Themed “Blood donation gives lives”, the event received 1,000 units of blood from volunteers. Over the past week, a walk of blood donation, gift delivery to patients, a camping festival, and an art program were held as part of the festival. Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien said: “The Red Spring festival is of humanitarian significance. The number of blood donors is on the rise, which is beyond my expectation. Usually, people go to festivals to pray for good luck for themselves. But people come here to give away their blood happily. Many people have donated their blood many times. I am very moved that family members came to donate blood, showing their high responsibility for the community.”

The festival will end on Sunday and is expected to collect 8,000 units of blood.
