(VOVWORLD) - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Vietnamese Administration of Sea and Islands (VASI) and the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) was signed at a ceremony in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Denmark is a country with large resources and much experience in resource management, environment, and scientific marine research. Last November, the Prime Ministers of the two countries signed a Joint Statement on establishing Vietnam-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership after 10 years of being comprehensive partnership.
In 2018, VASI and GEUS signed an MoU on 5-year cooperation in resource management, marine environment, and marine geology.
