Led by Commander Darin MacDonald, the Australian naval delegation paid a courtesy visit to leaders of the municipal People’s Committee, Military Region 7 High Command, Naval Region 2 High Command, and participated in friendly sports with students from the Naval Technical College.

They also participated in joint exercises for the Code for Unexpected Encounters at Sea (CUES) and search-and-rescue operations. The delegation also participated in community activities and visited local historical relic and cultural sites.

The visit by the Royal Australian Navy contributed to strengthening cooperation, understanding, and trust between the naval officers and sailors, as well as the armies of the two countries.
