The national flag flies at Ba Dinh Square to celebrate National Day.
On September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh square, founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. At that time the Vietnamese nation turned a new page in history and advanced into an era of independence and freedom. Flowers, flags, panels, and posters are being hung outside the National Assembly building at Ba Dinh square to celebrate the great national anniversary.
The LED screen at Voice of Vietnam headquarters in Hanoi shows documentary footage of the great historic event on the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
From big streets...
To tall buildings ...
To small alleys, are all decorated with red flags.
