China, Russia sign several bilateral co-operation agreements

(VOVworld) – China will continue strengthening its comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership with Russia, said Chinese President Xi Jin-ping at a meeting Thursday with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, following a parade commemorating V-day in Beijing.

Xi said China and Russia should increase co-operation at multilateral forums and in finance, investment, and energy. Putin said Russia is ready to co-operate with China, suggesting more fields for co-operation, such as the petrochemical and space industries. Following the meeting, the two leaders witnessed the signing of 20 bilateral co-operation agreements.
