(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Embassy in India celebrated the 126th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19th) in New Delhi on Thursday.

Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh, staff, and a large number of overseas Vietnamese people promised to make efforts to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s examples to contribute to helping Vietnam to become more prosperous.

The participants expressed their respect and deep gratitude to Uncle Ho and the revolutionary cause in seizing independence and freedom for the nation, and review revolutionary thought of Uncle Ho in foreign affairs.

A similar ceremony was held on the same day in Mozambique’s capital Maputo drawing the participation of the Vietnamese Embassy, representatives of the Vietnamese Association and Movitel, the joint venture between Viettel and Mozambique's SPI.
