(VOVWORLD) -The Labor Federation of Da Nang city on Wednesday organized "Trade Union Bus" program to bring disadvantaged workers to their hometowns for Tet celebration.

This week, 85 free buse trips have taken 3,400 union members and poor workers from Da Nang to their hometowns in Quang Binh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, and the Central Highlands provinces.
Teacher Le Xuan Tien, who got a free bus ticket to return home, said, “This has been the 7th year I was given a bus ticket by the Trade Union. Da Nang city has supported Trade Union members and workers for many years, which is a very meaningful act for people working far from home. I’m so happy to unite with my family.”
The Labor Federation of Da Nang city had given 20,000 Tet gifts, each worth about 20 USD and 40 thousand shopping vouchers to poor workers, organized "Tet Trade Union Market", and visited workers who can not return home during Tet.
